I advocate a holistic view of the individual where the self-aware connection between body and mind constitutes the natural foundation in my treatment work. Throughout my 30 years as both a practitioner and educator in the field, I have developed my own special method, using my combined expertise to guide you back to health.

 

MY EDUCATION

  • Licensed Physiotherapist in 1984, Lund University

  • Ongoing professional practice in stress-related physiotherapy from 1984 to present

  • Psychodynamic body therapy degree, 1991, Karolinska Institute, Stockholm

  • Master's degree in Stressinduced Physiotherapy 1993, Lund University

  • Psychotherapy degree in 1994, Region Skåne/Swedish Public Healthcare system

  • Ongoing education in Mindfulness, CBT, and Noetic Psychotherapy, USA from 2001 to present

  • Certified Feldenkrais practitioner from The Feldenkrais Guild of North America's 4-year program, 2003-2007, Sonoma II, California

 

MY PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Working in stress-related and psychosomatic physiotherapy within The Swedish public Healthcare system since 1986.

Part-time position as a university lecturer at the Physiotherapy program at Lund University since 1993, including  20 years as course coordinator and developer for psychosomatic and stress-related physiotherapy. Currently a guest lecturer.
 

Author of the Book: Regaining Balance: the Swedish Healthcare Method to Reduce Stress, Anxiety and Pain

Regularly lectures and provides guidance, both nationally and internationally.
